Payday..... new book day!

Well I started off today feeling utterly terrible, but it is payday, which means I did finally get to order the last crescent city book, which I can now take off my wishlist. Cannot wait for that to arrive!! I'm now torn with whether to read it immediately... or... whether to wait and read when the moon hatched, and take the big book away with me when I head for cornwall in a couple of weeks. I've got the kindle loaded up with some Elsie Silver books for my break, but I know I will read those in one sitting each.

My health has been giving me a battering over the last few days, but with the long weekend coming up I am hoping to be super productive, get on top of all of my jobs and outstanding tasks and get some solid reading done and content made. I've got a few on my TBR shelf at the moment, and I am trying my best to be sensible and not buy any more until  I have read a few... I'm trying at least. Still I now have an ever growing list that I am desperate to read.... utterly desperate... might have to relent to a couple of audiobooks so I can get jobs done at the same time!

So currently on the list of need to read

House of Flame and Shadow

The rest of the Blue rebel ranch series (Like an idiot I managed to buy and read the last book first.)

The Elsie Silver Rose Hill Series

Quicksilver

When the moon hatched

Polly's war

Filthy Rich Vampire

Throne of Glass Series

LORDS Series (Loveeeeddd Book one.... book two is waiting for me on audible)

I mean there are so many more.... but I need to get through some of these first, I would also quite like to branch out into tiktok lives somehow... I havent been quite brave enough yet, maybe soon eh!

The Empyrean series - Still rocking in a corner

The Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros isn’t just a story—it’s a mirror, a companion, and at times, a challenge to my own understanding of resilience and love. From the first page, I was pulled into a world of danger, beauty, and heartbreak, but what hit me most was how much I saw myself reflected in Violet. Violet’s struggle with EDS (Or what I perceived to be EDS at any rate) —her chronic pain, her limitations, her determination to keep going despite a body that sometimes feels like it’s betraying her—resonated so deeply with me. Living with fibromyalgia, I know that daily battle: the ache, the exhaustion, the frustration of wanting to do more than your body allows. Violet’s courage, her refusal to let her condition define her, and the way she keeps moving forward even when it hurts—it gave me hope. It reminded me that I am not less because of pain, that my worth is not dictated by what my body can or can’t do, and that persistence itself is a kind of victory. And yes, it also...
